Hvantage Technologies Inc was engaged by Standard Beverage, a wholesale distributor of wines, spirits, and beer, to enhance their basic e-commerce platform. The platform lacked functionality and needed to be more user-friendly and responsive on mobile devices. Hvantage introduced creative ideas for the user interface and filled the functionality gaps by creating a new module for customers and sales reps, and implementing a sample ordering feature. The applications were built on an SQL database using SAP.NET. The project started in early 2017 and the first major project, the sample ordering system, was launched in October of the same year. The cost of the services was $50,000.
Advisors Asset Management, a financial services firm, hired Hvantage Technologies Inc to create a business intelligence environment for the company. The project involved reverse-engineering an expansive and complex production data environment that had been built over 25 years. Hvantage then set up a full-blown SQL formal production environment that was modelled for business intelligence and spooled up the Power BI platform. They also created a new web environment that combined highly customized solutions and complex calculations, and leveraged the Azure cloud as well as the Power BI embedded component. The project has been ongoing for a year and a half and costs about $20,000 a month.
