Highlights from Recent Projects
Horus Technology was contracted by Lintra, an AI-native continuity care platform for senior living communities, to consolidate their fragmented infrastructure into Amazon Web Services (AWS). Their dispersed setup was causing increased operational costs and complications with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and System and Organization Controls (SOC 2) compliance. Horus Tech aimed to unify all assets under AWS, thereby reducing cloud expenses, establishing compliance, and streamlining management, while maintaining data integrity and undisturbed workflows.
After discovering Lintra through a referral, Horus Technology successfully managed the shift from their array of platforms comprising Supabase, Clerk, Vercel, MongoDB, and scattered AWS assets to a structured AWS architecture. The team migrated PostgreSQL to Amazon Aurora, messaging data to DynamoDB and S3, authentication to Amazon Cognito, and hosting to AWS Amplify with CloudFront and AWS WAF. They also set up encryption, IAM controls, monitoring, audit logging, and other security steps, making the workload HIPAA-qualified.
The outcome of the consolidation project was positive. Horus took all precautionary measures by testing a parallel copy of the system and devising detailed rollback and decommissioning plans before the final transition. Their careful handling of AWS funding, opportunity registration, and Bedrock model-access support resulted in a well-managed migration from discovery through testing, deployment, and handover. The team at Horus Technology was commended for their professional conduct and successful completion of this complex project.
