Hoodies was hired by Plant Village, a humanitarian nonprofit organization, to develop a software solution to monitor the spread of a locust crisis in East Africa. The project involved refactoring the client's website and developing a client management system consisting of a website and an Android app. Hoodies also implemented computer vision and machine learning tools in the app to enable smallholder farmers in Africa to diagnose their problems offline. The client commended Hoodies for their professional manner and their ability to take their ideas and bring them into reality. The partnership started in April 2020 and is still ongoing.
An advertising agency in Moscow partnered with Hoodies for several development projects. The scope of the work involved using Ruby, JavaScript, and Go to automate different digital marketing campaigns. The client worked closely with three of Hoodies' developers and expressed satisfaction with the partnership. The engagement spanned from June 2016 to November 2016.
Amsterdam Internet Exchange, a telecommunications company, engaged Hoodies to augment their staff for a project that started from scratch. Hoodies' team, which consisted of an average of three full-time engineers, worked on both the frontend and backend parts of the project. Hoodies integrated with the client's internal team and participated in their scrum standups and planning sessions. The partnership lasted from September 2019 to November 2020.
