HMS Software Solutions

HMS Software Solutions was hired by AQS Inspection & Rework, a company that sorts, reworks, and inspects quality for multiple components in the automotive industry. The goal was to develop software that could capture hourly reports from employees in every project. These reports would then translate into payroll and diverse invoices, matching the hours paid to the staff and the hours charged to the clients. HMS Software Solutions was selected due to their high ratings, great culture fit, good value for cost, and aligned company values.

The team from HMS Software Solutions, which consisted of 2-5 employees, created a solution that streamlined the process of capturing and matching the hours of each employee in the open projects. This ensured that the hours in the payroll and invoices were the same. The software also sent automatic daily reports of each project to the clients at a specified time. This allowed clients to know the daily status of their projects and employees to know how many hours they had worked on a daily basis. Once a project was finished, with just one click, the project would be completed and all of the final reports would be sent to the customers.

The results were highly positive. The new process saved a lot of time and resources. Key deliverables included automatic daily reports sent to clients, employees being able to view their work hours daily, management reviewing hours per project and per employee, HR downloading hours for payroll instantly, and a "finish" button on a project that would lead to the generation and dispatch of the invoice automatically.
