BNP Paribas, a leading bank in Darmstadt, hired Hitech BPO to annotate 100,000 hours of shop footage for their retail customer. The objective was to develop an analytical marketing solution for the customer's offline shop chain. Hitech BPO was selected due to their great cultural fit, company values, and a referral. A team of 6-10 employees was assigned to this project. The scope of work involved teaching in-store cameras to recognise product interaction and classify items into groups such as examining, touching, comparing, returning, etc. The collaboration was extremely successful as Hitech BPO met the objective of annotating 100,000 hours per store. The annotated data is now being used to create an ML dataset for KPIs related to product engagement.
