For the mobile ordering platform, M01, Hire Tester was hired to conduct overall testing for the back-office, iOS and Android apps. The aim was to identify and rectify all possible errors and bugs before real restaurants were added to the software. The project involved creating test users and restaurants and simulating a real environment. The team at Hire Tester, which consisted of 3-5 people, was led by a person in charge who was the main point of contact. The client had previously worked with Hire Tester on another successful project and was pleased with the results of the testing.
Hire Tester was contracted by Wurkr, a digital workspace provider, to conduct a short timebox piece of QA and software testing. The Wurkr platform is a video-based platform with multiple video rooms all on one screen, and users can seamlessly move from one to the other. Hire Tester was tasked with creating test plans on the functionalities and features of the office and running through these on different browsers and devices. If any features or functionalities were not functioning, they identified the bug. The client had a long-standing relationship with the CEO of Hire Tester and chose to work with them based on this relationship. The project, which was completed in 20 hours in August 2020, cost less than £500 (approximately $700 USD). The client was satisfied with the work done by Hire Tester.
