Hexagon IT Solutions was hired by an Employee Assistance Program provider to rebuild their custom software portal. The team at Hexagon completely redesigned the portal using a Linux server, MySQL, and PHP. The process began with a discovery phase and was followed by the design and development phases, during which Hexagon also provided UI/UX design and wireframes. Throughout the project, the client worked with project managers, programmers, and QA staff from Hexagon, who were able to scale the team size depending on the development phase. The project was recommended by a sister company of the client and cost between $60,000 and $80,000, which also included managing the client's pre-existing platform and supporting the development of a new one. The partnership began in March 2017 and the majority of the work was completed in May 2018, with some additional modules still being worked on.
