Highlights from Recent Projects
Helix Tech was hired by a business consulting firm, Blumarble, to build an online shop for one of their clients. The scope of the project expanded to include the development of Blumarble's own website. Helix Tech was responsible for both the design and development of these sites, creating responsive websites that allowed users to easily access information about the firm. This included a one-pager that listed the firm's references and current projects, as well as a map feature. The project, which was completed between March and May 2016, was managed by a project manager from Helix Tech, with whom the client communicated directly.
Helix Tech also worked on the development and design of an iOS app for a social club aimed at business-minded individuals interested in private investments. The client initially worked with a different vendor, but turned to Helix Tech when the initial vendor could not deliver the desired results. The app, similar to Facebook or LinkedIn, included many software modules that allowed users to create profiles, scroll through a curated news feed, and schedule events. Other features, such as the ability to view other profiles and connect, as well as a fundraising module, were still in development. The project, which began in August 2017, was ongoing and had cost the client between $22,000 and $27,000 to date.
