Havooz ICT Services undertook a project for Avea, one of the largest mobile operators in Turkey, part of the Turk Telekom group. The goal of the project was to handle the increased traffic from different sources, particularly social media, coming from the wireless application protocol gateway. Havooz developed a product in Avea's incubation center, working with their engineers, to manage the large amount of traffic for that division. The product was designed to store the data in an efficient way and log queries for different teams such as quality assurance and customer care. The challenge was to provide similar response times to these types of queries when compared to the previous ones. The project was a success, resulting in significant savings on storage, about two times what Avea had before. The system also helped in preparing some reports to present to upper management and related teams. Furthermore, the customer care team was interested in receiving certain information from these logs related to their customers. Havooz ICT Services was selected for this project through a two-phase selection process in which they presented their project to Avea's upper management.
