Hatcha

Hatcha was hired by Mrs Mactivity, an education publisher, with the goal of improving customer retention and sales. The engagement was initiated on a referral basis, with Hatcha being chosen due to their experience with similar businesses. The project entailed improvements in website usability, sign-up process, on-site search function, along with enhancements in menu navigation and website speed. Emphasis was also placed on data-driven decision making, customer free trials and integration with multiple platforms for seamless operations.

A one-man team from Hatcha took on the challenge and made significant changes. They worked on the look and feel of download pages, embedded launchable slides, and made the website more automated. Unique to the project was the implementation of an AI bot that aided in website fixes and improvements. Alongside these improvements, Hatcha initiated a move from Mailgun and Kinsta to AWS to improve both email deliverability and site speed.

The results of Hatcha's work were substantial. All the improvements led to a more user-friendly experience on the website and improved the speed of the site, thanks to the move to AWS. Better site navigation and search functions meant customers could find relevant content quickly and easily. The integration of free trials helped retain customers and increased membership sign-ups. Ultimately, Hatcha's contributions were instrumental in helping Mrs Mactivity achieve its goals.
