Happening Design Studio

Happening Design Studio undertook an expansive project with UMO Design, a design community. The main challenge was to create and develop a platform that could manage various aspects of the community, including ticketing, conference management, and community engagement. The platform needed to accommodate different initiatives such as contests, mentoring programs, internships, talent-matching programs, and a design school. Happening Design Studio successfully developed the platform, integrating payment gateways for fundraising and providing analytics for community growth and engagement. They also helped manage an international design contest by creating a website for entry submissions and evaluation. The team provided presentations to streamline the contest process and created marketing materials and an application for entries and certifications. The client appreciated Happening Design Studio's involvement in both design and business processes, commending them for their honesty, passion, and affordability. The project, which began in June 2021, is ongoing and costs less than $10,000.
