GURU Technologies successfully engaged with CrewTracks to develop an all-in-one solution for construction companies. This mobile and web app solution combines time tracking, project management, scheduling and cost reports into one efficient system. Furthermore, the developed platform offers valuable features such as digital fillable documents and real-time communication between field workers and office administrators. This has allowed construction companies to manage their projects proactively and run their payroll and accounting accurately.
The project faced unique challenges given that most construction work occurs in active sites or rural areas with limited internet access. GURU Technologies navigated this by developing an app that is fully functional offline and integrated the captured data once back online. They also designed the app interface to reflect the complex data structures and relationships in an easy-to-use format for the users.
The engagement has been highly successful since its inception in January 2015 and remains ongoing.
