Gulo successfully completed a web design and development project for a financial services trade association based in Washington, DC. The company was looking to update their outdated website and improve its functionality and load speed. Gulo redesigned the site, brought it up to current standards, and improved its overall functionality. They also integrated the site with the association's database and enabled SSO for member login. The project, which kicked off in April 2020 and launched in June 2020, was completed by a team of 5-6 people from Gulo, and cost around $32,000. The association continues to have an ongoing relationship with Gulo for support and hosting services.
In another project, Gulo worked with a pet food manufacturer to redesign their most popular brand's website, which was in dire need of a design refresh and better navigation. Gulo's competitive pricing, impressive design comp, and forward-thinking strategy led to their selection for the project. The redesign process involved a kickoff call, messaging, audience analysis, content strategy, development strategy, content audit, site map, wireframing, homepage/landing page/product page designs, alpha and beta developments, and then official launch. The team used Wordpress, WooCommerce, consumer quiz, Mailchimp plugin, Instagram Plugin, Blog, PriceSpider Where to Buy, Contact Form Integration, and Coupon iFrames.
Gulo also partnered with a boutique agency, PAC, to develop custom software. The agency wanted to improve its metrics and incorporate a unique QR code. Gulo built a mobile experience that is activated once a digital QR code is scanned. This project also involved the creation of a landing page and all digital assets on the page, as well as a digital version of the educational guide linked to the QR code. Gulo streamlined the agency's backend digital side and made it more user-friendly. This project, which cost over $14,000, is expected to be the foundation for multiple future projects.
