Guava Software – Out of Business

Guava Software completed a web development project for a design and development company. The project involved creating a clinic management system, which included a scheduling portal for clients. The portal allowed clients to make appointments and view operation hours as well as doctor availability. The team at Guava Software, consisting of 6-10 people including a product owner, frontend and backend developers, and designers, handled everything from design to development. The backend was built using Ruby on Rails, while the frontend utilized React, HTML, and CSS. The project, which began in 2017, is still ongoing and the client has invested over $100,000 in it.

In another project, Guava Software developed a software for KFP, a car engine lubricant company. The software was designed to track and manage the selling and buying of products in gas stations and stores. The software, based on Ruby on Rails, is maintained by Guava Software. The team working on the project included two heads of the company and five other members. The engagement, which started in February 2013, is still ongoing, with the client investing between $50,000 and $200,000.

Guava Software was also hired by Staxe, a blockchain-based crowd investment platform, to implement a web application frontend to their blockchain-based backend. The goal was to build a minimum viable product (MVP) that would enable them to go to market. Guava Software worked closely with Staxe to define the requirements in an agile fashion. The design and implementation of a web application based on Ruby on Rails was delivered by Guava Software. The team consisted of a project manager and 2-3 frontend and backend developers from Guava Software, a product manager and a senior developer for the blockchain part from Staxe, and a third-party UI/UX designer.
