Highlights from Recent Projects
GrownApps was hired by a boutique consulting company to provide custom software development services. They developed a financial reporting app for specific business workflows using standard technologies such as Apache, PHP, and JavaScript. The app was designed to process financial reports, financial KPIs, and facilitate review and approval processes. Despite the strict quality control process and stringent delivery criteria, GrownApps successfully delivered multiple releases of the app over seven years. The engagement which lasted from March 2005 to August 2012, saw the client invest around $200,000 in total.
The SaaS company CEO contracted GrownApps to develop their SaaS product. GrownApps was chosen after evaluating several firms that offered outsourced developers, with their good first impression and communication being the deciding factors. The project involved web development using PHP, MySQL, JS, and CSS, with 3-5 different developers and project managers from GrownApps working on it.
Tentacles IoT, an IT software and hardware solutions provider, sought GrownApps' software development services after being dissatisfied with a previous company's services. The project started small but grew over time, with the first development project involving the creation of a software dashboard using JavaScript, Vue, and React. The client mainly interacted with a project manager who also served as a developer. The engagement, which began in June 2019, continues to date.
