Grindset Software was hired by DATAMI Cybersecurity to develop an AI-driven fraud detection algorithm for their online payment processing partner. The main goals were to bolster transaction security, deter fraudulent activities, and sustain customer trust. Grindset Software was chosen based on their value for cost and alignment with company values. The project was undertaken by a team of 2-5 employees. They began with extensive research and development, data gathering, and exploratory data analysis (EDA). They proposed several potential solutions, and once the architecture was finalized, they implemented and deployed the algorithm. They also established a data processing pipeline to feed new data into the system daily, ensuring adaptability. As a result of their work, the system's accuracy increased, the payment flow was expedited, and maintenance costs were reduced.
