Highlights from Recent Projects
Gorrion was hired by Macat International Limited, a company that creates and operates critical thinking tests, to develop a user-management layer for the management of enrollment and execution of these tests. Gorrion was chosen due to their high ratings, budget-friendly pricing, and great culture fit. The project aimed to create an application that interfaces with a third-party academic assessment platform, designed for easy swapping or addition of new products, with minimal disruption to end users. The project was successful and allowed for future diversification and growth, building on a growing customer base, and readiness for a self-service SaaS future.
Title Guardian, a software company that offers a proactive monitoring system against title, identity, and property fraud, engaged Gorrion to further develop their software as their clientele grew. The scope of work included simplifying specific tasks, designing and integrating new software features, contributing to customer support, conducting bug testing and repair, and creating new features such as a partners portal. Gorrion was praised for their efficiency, enthusiasm, and overall positive attitude, with their work helping the client to perform their job better.
Gorrion worked with FieldBee, an agricultural machine automation company, to make their application more efficient and intuitive. The project involved three main streams: mobile application, web application, and manuals. Gorrion conducted several workshops and a UX audit, proposed and delivered several enhancements, created instructional illustrations using 3D models, wrote/compiled texts along with user stories, and prepared a redesign of the application. The project was successful, resulting in an improved user experience and increased productivity for farmers using the application.
