Global Software Consulting developed a cross-platform mobile app (iOS and Android) for uDress, a P2P mobile marketplace based in Riyadh for buying, selling, and renting pre-owned dresses. Their task was to design a clean, user-friendly interface with advanced filtering capabilities to help users swiftly locate the right dress. A real-time in-app chat system was also established to allow private transactions between buyers and sellers.
Global Software Consulting engineered the uDress mobile application from start to finish, tailoring the UI/UX design system for the local Saudi audience. The app was built using React Native and TypeScript, encompassing user registration, authentication, profile management, and advanced search and filtering. Additionally, not only did they enable a real-time in-app chat between users, they also built-in push notifications for activity updates.
The scope of work included backend setup using Node.js and Firebase and successful application deployment on both App Store and Google Play.
