Giulio Petillo Studio was hired by AR Studio, a marketing company, for the development of two augmented reality (AR) filters for a new sneaker launch. The first project involved creating a plane tracker Instagram filter that animatedly brought the sneaker through a portal when a flat surface was framed. The second project required the creation of a 3D mascot character Instagram filter, transforming users into a chameleon. Giulio Petillo Studio, recognized as one of the top AR studios in Italy and Europe, was chosen due to a long-standing collaborative relationship with the client. The team, consisting of the CEO Giulio, Project Manager Giuseppe, and 3D Developer/designer Raffello, worked remotely using Spark AR development software. They successfully achieved the campaign's two objectives: introducing the new sneaker in an innovative way and engaging users through an interactive project that embodied the brand's identity.
