Gigster

Gigster was hired by the Dr. of Technological Innovation of Cornell University to create custom software and build a scalable product that could integrate with Cornell's Workday HRIS. The project involved the creation of two releases of the Restorative Record application. The first release focused on converting the MVP version into a standalone application for public use. The second release aimed to improve the first by integrating it with the Workday HR platform and creating invitations to create a restorative record based on requests from the HR platform. Gigster was chosen for this project due to their high ratings, budget-friendly pricing, cultural fit, value for cost, positive referrals, and aligned company values.

An e-learning company enlisted the services of Gigster to develop a self-serve learning platform. The company was looking to create a lightweight version of its existing Learning Management System (LMS) platform that would provide training modules for different stakeholders, such as non-profits. The new platform was expected to leverage Django or Laravel and support e-learning-specific formats as well as general formats for documents, images, audio, and video. Gigster was chosen for this project due to their budget-friendly pricing, cultural fit, and good value for cost. The team from Gigster collaborated with the e-learning company to scope, design, and develop the LMS platform, which was then ready for deployment and rollout.
