The team from GetInData, consisting of 2-5 employees, was tasked with integrating the existing data catalog with GCP BigQuery, improving the existing data catalog dashboard, and enhancing existing data visualization tooling. The communication between the two companies was primarily through virtual meetings and email or messaging apps. The project was successful, as evidenced by the improved data catalog and visualization tools.
GetInData was also engaged by Select Star, an automated data discovery platform, to integrate OpenLineage. The goal was to provide their customers with a clear and comprehensive view of their data flow within their platform. The team from GetInData, which included 2-5 employees, handled the full lifecycle development of the integration with OpenLineage, including architecture design, development, testing, and comprehensive documentation. The project was completed successfully, achieving the goal of providing a comprehensive view of data flow for Select Star's customers.
In another project, GetInData was contracted by Atlan, a data catalog and data governance company, to implement an OpenLineage layer into their stack for Airflow and Spark. The team from GetInData, consisting of 2-5 employees, was involved in the entire implementation and collaboration on all community releases and changes, both on the Airflow side and on OpenLineage. The project was successful, resulting in extended support for Airflow and Spark as data sources and the adoption of OpenLineage as a standard for Atlan.
