Highlights from Recent Projects
Genium worked with a media and security company to create a custom MVP Android application. The project, which ran from March to September 2020, involved scoping out the necessary features and developing the application using native Android technologies. The deliverables included the Android application, a backend for real-time monitoring of app activities, and an API to connect the two. The project was managed by a team consisting of a project manager, an engineering manager, an Android developer, a backend developer, a UX designer, and a full-stack resource. The client invested between $100,000 and $150,000 in the project.
In another project, Genium partnered with a fitness and apparel body scanning company to manage and optimize their 3D body scan data. The ongoing project, which began in August 2018, involved cleaning up 3D scans and enhancing validation algorithms for 2D services. The team used TensorFlow and ImageNet to improve machine learning on results and image data from the scans. The project was managed by a team consisting of a manager and two computer vision engineers.
Genium also worked with a tech and software startup to develop a custom e-commerce website. The project ran from July to December 2020 and involved an initial analysis period followed by a development period. The resulting website included features such as inspirational quotes and different product pages. The project was managed by two members of Genium’s team, a Shopify Developer and the Head of Operations. The client invested about $30,000 in the project, which is currently in the warranty period for potential bug fixes.
