Geekbears

Geekbears was hired by Mackinaw Dating Company LLC, a startup aiming to disrupt the dating app market, to develop a mobile app, establish the brand, and provide support for the business launch. The Geekbears team, consisting of 6-10 employees, adopted a four-phase approach: Discovery, Design, Development, and Ongoing Maintenance. They initiated the project with market research, then moved on to define the brand and its identity. The team developed the UI/UX in 2D render and then a 3D Figma interactive mockup. The project is currently in the Development phase, where Geekbears will provide a working beta test and assist in launching the finished product.

TENLI, an educational streaming platform, hired Geekbears to develop a scalable and responsive design for their app. The Geekbears team, comprising 2-5 employees, was tasked with creating an intuitive and engaging user interface and optimizing the user experience for seamless interactions. The team carried out user research and wireframing before developing a high-fidelity UI design. They provided interactive prototypes for functionality testing before development and delivered a scalable design system and guidelines for consistency across the platform. The result was a polished, user-friendly, and responsive design that exceeded TENLI's expectations.

A fintech software company engaged Geekbears for design and prototyping. The Geekbears team, consisting of two members, was responsible for designing and developing a multi-page clickable prototype showcasing an app demo. They created design specs, Figma mockups, and a style guide. The engagement, which started in March 2025, is ongoing. The fintech company found Geekbears through an online search and chose them for their professionalism and relevant experience.
