Geekbears

Geekbears successfully completed a project with Treads, a mobile-first car management platform. The project involved developing an app for iOS and Android platforms. Geekbears' responsibilities included UI/UX design, front- and backend development, and third-party APIs integration, including a GPS, a recurring subscription billing, and a calendar to schedule appointments. The app is now available on the App Store and the Google Play Store. The Treads team praised Geekbears for their ability to take an early idea or concept and transform it into a fully functional app. The project started in December 2019 and is still ongoing.

In another project, Geekbears collaborated with a wellness company based in Denver, CO. The project entailed creating a customized mobile app for users and an admin dashboard to streamline the company's wellness services. The Geekbears team designed the UI/UX for the mobile app, the staff app, and the admin dashboard. The client appreciated Geekbears' honesty and realistic outlook on the project. They were also impressed with the team's organization and communication skills throughout the project.

Geekbears also worked with NewDirections, a web app aimed at simplifying the senior living search process. The project required the creation of a clickable prototype to gather feedback from potential users. Geekbears conducted an extensive Discovery Process, which included several virtual meetings/interviews, customer discovery, and identifying user personas. They then developed Low and High-Fidelity Mockups, a style guide, a logo, and finally, a clickable prototype using Figma. The NewDirections team was pleased with Geekbears' qualifications and reasonable project costs.
