Geek-Solutions was contracted by a software startup for staff augmentation. The startup was in its early stages and sought flexible contracting staff for software development. Geek-Solutions, an Eastern European off-shore software development company, was chosen for its reputation for strong math and science skills and cost-effective prices. They provided backend work in C# using MongoDB database and ElasticSearch search engine, among other technologies, for the web-based frontend written in Svelte. A team of five Geek-Solutions members, including a backend developer, a frontend developer, two project managers, and a business development/account manager, worked on the project.
In another project, Geek-Solutions was hired by Aceology, a software development company, to develop a website from scratch and provide UX/UI design within a short timeframe. The website was built on Webflow, and Geek-Solutions also provided maintenance for the website post-launch. The team comprised of three developers and the project was completed within a month, launching on January 1st. The client invested $5,000 in the project.
Geek-Solutions was also engaged by a mobile payments company to serve as a development partner due to a local talent shortage. The company worked with Geek-Solutions' mobile development group, a portal UI team, and a .NET team on front- and back-end coding as well as iOS and Android work. They also assisted with web apps, mobile apps, and cloud services. The Geek-Solutions team was fully integrated into the client's agile team, with daily standups and tasks put into sprints. The client had been working with Geek-Solutions since January 2015 and had invested about $5 million into the partnership.
