Gaussian Consulting was engaged by a prominent consumer transportation company, which was seeking a strategic approach to manage its rapid growth and capital-heavy operation. The company's head of product and design expressed satisfaction with Gaussian's methodology. The consulting firm began with a discovery phase, reviewing financial data, products, markets and setting a 3-5 year objective based on the owners' goals. Weekly strategy calls and quarterly interim objectives kept the company on track, with the help of Gaussian’s Sapium tool. The client mainly interacted with a Gaussian partner, supported by their market research team.

In another project, Gaussian Consulting worked with a physical design studio startup to help them identify which products to focus on. The CEO of the startup selected Gaussian based on a recommendation. The consulting firm conducted customer and market research, identified and ranked customer needs, and mapped potential products against these needs. They then selected a few products that would most satisfy customer needs with minimal cost and effort, and built a plan for implementing these products. The CEO appreciated Gaussian's role as a facilitator and thought leader throughout this process, which involved collaboration with a Gaussian partner and possibly 1-2 Market Researchers.
