For Food Empire sp. z o.o., a local pizzeria known as Pizza Weekendowa, GAINSOFT was given the task of custom software development to achieve two primary goals; reduced order fulfillment time and minimizing the number of errors made by employees during orders. The pizzeria owner chose GAINSOFT based on a referral, their geographical proximity, their competitive prices, and company values that matched his own. A team of 2-5 GAINSOFT employees was assigned to this project.

The project was meticulously executed in three phases. The first phase, from March 9th to 27th, was used for meetings to define technical and business requirements and conduct initial pilot work on the application. This was followed by the application development phase based on the previously established requirements, which lasted from March 27th to May 11th. The final phase ran from May 11th to June 8th, during which automated tests were written to test all possible cases.

Despite its complexity, GAINSOFT successfully delivered the custom software for Food Empire’s Pizzeria. The system achieved its objectives, reducing fulfillment time and employee errors during order handling. The owner of the pizzeria was especially pleased with the GAINSOFT's professionalism. This successful project reinforced the company's reputation for providing good value, strong alignment with client values, and delivering on their promises.
