Fynydd

Fynydd was hired by a pharmaceutical advisory services firm to develop two websites, one representing the business and the other serving a specific customer market. Fynydd built the sites from scratch using Microsoft ASP.NET, handling all wireframing, design work, and UX optimization. They also worked on branding representation and implemented the new sites. The customer-oriented site provides business information and allows visitors to browse sample report content and sign up for guest access to the customer portal. The engagement began in December 2015 and is still ongoing, with the firm investing around $150,000 in total.

The Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute, a nonprofit, member-driven association, hired Fynydd to rebuild their web store to handle the complexities of their membership levels and their 200 products. Fynydd executed designs and built a backend solution that integrated with the Institute's new database, using Umbraco. The website can handle the complexities of layered or tiered membership and includes an online membership renewal feature. The project lasted from May 2016 until July 2018, with an ongoing maintenance contract and separate initiatives to launch new website features. The Institute invested around $100,000 in the project.

WIN Home Inspect, a franchiser of home inspection services, hired Fynydd to migrate their website from WordPress to Umbraco, and to fix and advance their website. After encountering issues with custom coding from the previous provider, Fynydd decided to create an entirely new site. They designed and developed the new site, introducing advanced search functionality and a third-party scheduling software integration. The engagement started in January 2015 and is ongoing, with WIN Home Inspect investing a low six-figure sum in the project.
