Highlights from Recent Projects
Fusionary developed a mobile application for a yarn distribution company. The app is a color catalog that allows users to search for colors, view them alphabetically, and see the types of yarn and fiber blends offered. It also includes a pairing section where users can see how up to six colors interact with each other and what they look like together in knitwear. The app, which also allows users to save favorites and shop, is compatible with both iPhones and Android devices. The project was completed successfully between June and October 2020.
For a nonprofit organization, Fusionary developed an iOS and Android application for analyzing certifications and competencies required for work. The app was developed through an iterative process where content and design were developed simultaneously. A key feature of the app is its ability to store code and share it with end users, enabling them to combine and use linked data from multiple systems. The project, which started three years ago, is ongoing and is funded by a grant.
Fusionary was hired by an endowment fund to revamp their website. The team provided web development and design services, incorporating all necessary content and functionality, including payment processing. They presented design options and worked with the client until the right balance was found. The project, which ran from March to August 2020, was a success. The client invested between $22,000 and $25,000 in the project.
