Fulcrum Digital was hired by Picciano & Scahill, PC, an insurance defense law firm, to overhaul their outdated case management system. The former director of IT operations at the firm, who was fully involved in all aspects of IT and software development, recognized that the existing system, built in 2001 using XML, needed a complete revamp. Fulcrum Digital rebuilt the platform from scratch using .NET, developed the backend, and used Angular JS for the framework. The team, consisting of 15-20 people, also redesigned the UI and redid all of the workflow processes and integrations with the firm's third-party web service provider. The project, which ran from September 2015 to May 2019, saw the firm invest between $200,000 and $999,999. Fulcrum Digital was chosen for their appealing approach, solid communication skills, and a good understanding of the firm's needs.
