Frontside Software was contracted by iNGAGED, a communication platform for employers, to enhance their web development capabilities and create an administrative and employer portal. iNGAGED lacked engineering experience in web development and sought Frontside's expertise in web design and development best practices. Frontside built an employee portal using Ember.js and a RESTful API backend written in Go. They ensured good test coverage and engineering practices were in place for simultaneous development of the web portal and backend. The project was successful and they also helped iNGAGED build a user portal strategy.
Frontside Software was hired by AltSchool, an education management company, for a long-term upgrade to a more recent version of Ember, a JavaScript framework. AltSchool sought Frontside's expertise in Ember to improve their software and learn new ideas within a specific timeframe. Frontside improved the student assessment user interface, expanded AltSchool's Ember-data understanding, introduced a new technique for forms in Ember, rebuilt the file-upload process, and updated the front-end of a brand-new product. The project was successful and helped AltSchool make significant improvements across all their applications.
