Frontside Software was contracted by iNGAGED to enhance their current engineers' knowledge in web design and to develop an initial administration and employer portal. iNGAGED, a communication platform for employers and their employees, sought Frontside's help due to a lack of web development experience. The team used Ember.js to build the employee portal and ensured good test coverage and engineering practices were in place. Frontside's involvement led to the successful development of a functional portal where employers could manage communication with their employees. The project commenced in October 2016 and was completed by July 2017.
The education management company, AltSchool, brought in Frontside Software for a long-term upgrade to a more recent version of Ember, a JavaScript framework. Frontside worked on several projects including rewriting existing product with substantial improvements, expanding Ember-data understanding and rebuilding the file-upload process. They also contributed to the front-end re-write of a brand-new product. Frontside was commended for their flexibility and ability to quickly adapt to AltSchool's needs. The collaboration lasted from May 2016 until June 2017.
