Friends & Family worked on a project for a photo subscription service company. The company needed a software partner to help them transition from being a service that prints mobile photos to releasing physical products. Friends & Family built everything related to software, starting with an iOS version and later developed it for Android. They also created two secondary apps that offer print-on-demand services. The project presented some challenges due to its time-dependent nature and the need to incorporate different time zones. Despite the challenges, the partnership has been successful and is ongoing since its inception in July 2013, with the client investing around $300,000.

The company also developed an iOS app for social platform startup In Good Co. The founders of the startup, who had no technical background, wanted to create a minimum viable product (MVP) for their business idea. Friends & Family reworked the basic wireframes of the app, designed, and developed it from scratch. The project was completed within a budget of $35,000, which included the original design and development and further iterations. The app went live in October 2017.

Friends & Family were engaged by a large national coffee brand to redesign their outdated e-commerce site. The company wanted to include more contemporary customer pathways in their web application. Friends & Family developed a concept that improves customer interaction, allowing users to type dynamic text and filter through different coffee and tea products. They provided the UX design and used Node.js for a portion of the development work. The project, which cost around $100,000, was completed between August and October 2016.
