Highlights from Recent Projects
EY Studio+ was hired by a healthcare product and services company to develop a mobile app aimed at supporting the mental health of first responders and healthcare professionals. The app was designed to address specific challenges such as budget restrictions, need for easy implementation and the requirement for content to fit the specific mental health needs of each organization. EY Studio+ worked with the company to develop a highly configurable platform that can be set up in a matter of hours. The platform comes equipped with a set of mental health tools and resources targeted at specific occupations. The project involved tasks such as requirements definition, detailed work planning, technical architecture and design, UX/UI design, application development, testing, and deployment in AWS. The team was composed of up to 20 different resources including project managers, scrum masters, technical architects, app developers, full stack developers, UX/UI designers, and QA analysts.
In another project, EY Studio+ was brought in by CGI, a consultation services provider, to augment their technical resources for an urgent project. EY Studio+ integrated into CGI's team and worked in 8-week sprints using an Agile development methodology. At the end of each sprint, they demonstrated their progress to the client. Technologies used in the project included Python, Azure, and Drupal. The team from EY Studio+ consisted of eight people, some of whom were developers.
A Canadian government organization also engaged EY Studio+ to create an interactive customer experience for their road test application. EY Studio+ worked with the organization from the service design ideation stage, helping to build up the concept and visualize the customer experience. They used AngularJS to develop the frontend of the application and build new APIs. Map features were built-in and the layout and flow of the customer experience going through the booking system were improved. The team from EY Studio+ included a developer, a project manager, and a quality assurance analyst.
