Freshcode

Freshcode was hired by CRP Butler, a service that creates Certificates of Rent Paid tax forms for landlords, to develop a web application, crpbutler.com. The aim was to streamline the process of CRP generation for landlords and expedite the receipt of these forms by renters. Freshcode was selected based on their competitive pricing and the quality of their previous work. The project involved two stages of development, resulting in the 1.0 and 2.0 versions of the application. Key features included data ingestion from users and public databases, email functionality, Stripe integration for credit card processing, and AWS and Google Cloud Platform integrations. The project team comprised 4-5 members including a business development lead, product manager, designer, and developers.

A healthcare startup based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania contracted Freshcode to assist with the development of a survey tool. The project involved the creation of both front and back ends of the tool. Freshcode provided a developer who implemented the tool using the Clojure framework. The tool was designed to ask patients a series of questions, capture their image, and calculate a score for them. The engagement lasted from February to April 2022 and cost approximately $25,000.

CR LiftEd, a cloud software company catering to educators and therapists working with students with Autism and IDD, engaged Freshcode for full-stack software development. The company found Freshcode through a referral and selected them for their high ratings, competitive pricing, and cultural fit. The scope of work involved technical project management, requirements documentation, quality assurance testing, business analysis, and full-stack code development. Freshcode collaborated with CR LiftEd's in-house CTO to manage the development of LiftEd v2 and v3 web applications. After CR LiftEd was acquired in June 2022, Freshcode continued to work alongside the company's in-house engineering team to support an 18-month re-platform project.
