Freeport Metrics

Freeport Metrics collaborated with FoodTrux, a SaaS company focused on the food truck industry, to rectify and complete a software project that had been mishandled by a previous agency. The team at Freeport Metrics conducted a 30-day audit of the software and spent over a month fixing major issues. They then proceeded to build a custom-built POS system for food trucks and added 7-8 major features within the system. The project, which started in July 2023, is ongoing with more features in development. The engagement is expected to last for approximately another year.

In another project, Freeport Metrics worked with a business management SaaS company to supplement their onshore development team. The team at Freeport Metrics helped develop custom software for the client's product, primarily built with .NET and Microsoft technologies. The engagement, which began in May 2022, is ongoing, with Freeport Metrics providing a varying team of junior to senior engineers, QA resources, architects, and project managers based on the client's needs.

For the outreach and education company, Animal Ethics, Freeport Metrics was tasked with creating an AI assistant to answer questions about animal ethics and wild animal suffering. The team developed a chatbot capable of accurately discussing 10 major topics in animal ethics. They also designed the user interface and provided documentation and training to maintain the bot. The team of 6-10 employees from Freeport Metrics was selected for this project through a referral and the Tech to the Rescue initiative.
