Fragaria

Fragaria collaborated with the Czech Savings Bank to develop a mobile application called Poketka. The bank sought to guide their clients towards new healthy financial habits, the first of which was gaining control of their expenses. Fragaria helped develop application mock-ups and a plug-in framework over a long period, due to challenges faced. The app, which is Android-only, allows users to set up virtual cards for one-off purchases, thus eliminating the need to enter the actual card number on different e-commerce stores. It also allows users to have all their plastic cards in a virtual list inside the app, providing a real-time overview of their mobile payments. The project, which cost between $3 million and $4 million, started in mid-2016 and was launched in early 2019.

Fragaria also partnered with a banking house in the Czech Republic, providing frontend development on the AngularJS framework along with Bootstrap. The bank was seeking a new strategy for implementing the frontend part of their application. After the delivery of the project, a contract was established for maintaining the frontend stack. Fragaria acted as an architect and designer from the start of the project, then moved to a development role. They also acted as API designers and frontend developers on various projects. The project, which cost approximately $275,000 USD, started in mid-2015 and is still ongoing.

In another project, Fragaria collaborated with Winding Tree, a non-profit foundation supporting the development of a decentralized platform for the travel industry. The team was hired to build a developer experience portal. The platform was meant for other developers to build on top of it. They built some main parts of the system and assisted with the client's blog, posting monthly developer recaps. The project, which cost between $50,000 and $200,000, took place from January 2018 to June 2019.
