Fragaria

Fragaria collaborated with a banking house in the Czech Republic to develop and implement a new frontend strategy for their application. The team at Fragaria provided frontend development using the AngularJS framework and Bootstrap for visual parts of the frontend agenda. They also explored other frontend options like React and Vue.js, but ultimately found AngularJS to be the best fit. The original project was focused on strategy and architecture decisions, with Fragaria acting as an architect and designer from the start, before moving into a development role. The collaboration is ongoing and has been successful, with the bank investing approximately $275,000 USD to date.

Fragaria also worked with Czech Savings Banks, one of the largest banks in the Czech Republic, to develop a mobile app called Poketka. The app was part of a new strategy called “My Healthy Finances,” aimed at guiding clients towards healthier financial habits. Fragaria helped develop the application, mockups, and a plug-in framework. The app, which is Android-only, allows users to set up virtual cards for one user only, eliminating the need for entering actual card numbers on different e-commerce stores. The collaboration was successful, with the bank investing between $3 million–$4 million across the collaboration.

In addition, Fragaria partnered with Winding Tree, a nonprofit foundation supporting the development of a decentralized platform for the travel industry. The team at Fragaria helped build a developer experience portal and some main parts of the system. They also assisted with the company's blog, posting monthly developer recaps. Despite not having previous experience with Blockchain, Fragaria learned the technology alongside Winding Tree in order to build and develop the product. The collaboration lasted from January 2018 to June 2019, with Winding Tree investing between $50,000–$200,000.
