Fortifier partnered with an AI-based platform to develop a prototype due to a lack of sufficient internal engineering resources. The company utilized JavaScript and Python to work on both the frontend and backend of the platform, implementing design ideas and managing integrations with Microsoft Office APIs and Microsoft Bot Framework. Fortifier's team, which reached a size of 10 members, delivered multiple versions of an iOS app and a Microsoft Teams app, and implemented extensive features and capabilities. The partnership, which began in March 2015, saw a spending of over $1 million with work still ongoing.

In another project, Fortifier was engaged by Corlina, a company providing a monitoring and management platform for industrial networks, to create a prototype of their platform. Corlina's platform is a cloud-based SaaS system that communicates with Linux devices, reporting on their health and security. Fortifier's team, which included a full-time team of four as well as three part-time members, built an MVP of the platform on AWS. The partnership, which began in June 2017, saw a spending of roughly $100,000–$200,000, with work still ongoing.

Fortifier also worked with Project APO, a consulting, software development, and venture capital company in Japan and the US, to build a new product. Fortifier developed the backend of a prototype within a SaaS infrastructure, including AWS cloud infrastructure, and built application features including business card scanning, machine learning, and data analysis components. The project, which ran from November 2017 to July 2018, only required a few developers from Fortifier's team and saw an investment of between $250,000–$500,000.
