Force by Design

The Marin County-based community nonprofit agency sought the help of Force by Design to transition their paper-based business into Salesforce technology. The IT director of the agency stated that the initial project was a clinical recordkeeping system for their counselors. The next major project involved moving their paper-based AmeriCorps program onto the web using the Force.com platform. This required significant customization, coding, and project management. Force by Design was responsible for writing all of the visual Force and Apex codes, and they spent significant time customizing the solutions to the agency's business processes. The project was completed two years ago, and the agency is currently in its third phase of implementing add-on applications. The IT director appreciated Force by Design's inclusiveness in the process and their help in training their team.

A San Francisco-based non-profit company collaborated with Force by Design to integrate Salesforce into their system. The director of the IT department explained that they had several databases that did not communicate with each other, and they needed a better solution. Force by Design was able to implement Salesforce on time and within budget. They customized their non-profit version of Salesforce, which included their clients, employer contacts, and volunteers. The main part of the project was completed in 2008, but Force by Design continues to provide assistance and training. The director praised Force by Design for their responsiveness and their pro-bono work, including leading classes on Salesforce overview for their clients.
