Forastar Technologies was engaged by Macczeb Pvt Ltd to develop a native iOS and Android app for a virtual fantasy league. The previous development team had failed to deliver satisfactory results, leading to the decision to hire Forastar. The project, which used Node JS for backend development, took three and a half months to complete. The app allows users to create customized sports teams and participate in various leagues. The project team consisted of five members, including a tester and project manager. The project, which began in April 2018, cost Macczeb $9,000 and Forastar continues to provide maintenance support.
In another project, Forastar Technologies was hired by a large commercial bank in Myanmar to develop several mobile apps. The initial project was an Android app for creating customer accounts, which evolved into a customer onboarding app using biometrics, face signature snapshots, and national ID cards for authentication. Forastar also developed an online banking app and an ATM card issuance app, both integrated with each other. The project, which started in February 2018, was initially scoped for four months but extended due to the addition of the onboarding tool.
