Focus21 was hired by Planit Measuring, an engineering company, to streamline data processing and develop software solutions for their internal operations and client-facing services. The specific goals of the project included choosing the right hardware for data capture workflow and creating automated solutions for data processing. Focus21 developed a plugin to bring AutoCAD to the field, allowing surveyors to draft floorplans in real-time, reducing manual work and post-processing at the office. The team also bridged the gap between scanner data and modeling tools, simplifying the transfer and manipulation of point clouds for spatial data modeling.

The collaboration with Focus21 resulted in a significant improvement in Planit Measuring's data capture and processing workflow. The plugin developed by Focus21 allowed Planit to record measurements automatically, eliminating the risks of manual inputs, and reducing post-processing time.
