Fishermen Labs undertook a project to redesign the website of an international human rights organization. The organization, which connects people, groups, and nations globally, wanted the site to be modern and optimized for both global and local audiences. The challenge was to redesign the site without rearchitecting it. Fishermen Labs carried out an exploratory process to understand the challenges with the existing design and then worked on the global navigation systems and other navigational elements. The project, which began in July 2016, was completed in December 2016.

Fishermen Labs partnered with Minds + Assembly, a pharmaceutical ad agency, to develop a virtual reality experience for a trade show within the healthcare industry. The team at Fishermen Labs built the environment, developed the experience, provided technical support, and advised on equipment purchase. The project, which cost between $55,000 and $60,000, lasted from June to August 2018.

Fishermen Labs was hired by The Bible Project, a nonprofit EdTech company, to build a native mobile app for iOS and Android. The project involved designing core functionalities, such as the ability to watch videos, listen to podcasts, and read the Bible. The team also conducted market research, validated assumptions, and thought through user stories. The first phase of the project took about 6 months, and Fishermen Labs is now going into 6 months of build. The goal is to have a fully functional app by the end of 2021. The project, which started in January 2020, has a contract size of about $1 million.
