Highlights from Recent Projects
Fishermen Labs was hired by The Bible Project, a nonprofit EdTech company, to develop a native mobile app for iOS and Android. The project involved designing core functionalities like video watching, podcast listening, and Bible reading. The team also conducted market research, validated assumptions, and thought through user stories. The project, which started in January 2020, is expected to deliver a fully functional app by the end of 2021. The contract for the project is worth around $1 million.
For an international organization promoting human rights, Fishermen Labs redesigned the look and feel of their global website, which serves 170 offices worldwide in various languages. The challenge was to modernize the site's design without rearchitecting it, so it could be rolled out to all offices. The project, which started in July 2016 and finished in December 2016, involved a design and UX exercise, including work on the global navigation systems and secondary and tertiary navigational elements.
In another project, Fishermen Labs worked with Minds + Assembly, a pharmaceutical ad agency, to develop a virtual reality experience for a trade show. The team built the environment, developed the experience in Apocalypse, provided technical support, and advised on equipment purchases. The project, which ran from June to August 2018, was worth between $55,000 and $60,000.
