Fish Percolator

Fish Percolator was contracted by BML Creative, a strategic branding agency, to develop a software application named Commscanner. The software, designed to measure and analyze public sector communications, was built swiftly and within a limited budget. Fish Percolator's approach was phased, starting with the most critical features and progressing based on client feedback. The client praised Fish Percolator's excellent advice, expert insight, and robust working methodology, and was highly satisfied with the final output.

Fish Percolator was hired by Noiiz, a sound library and software application provider for music producers, to build their web application. The project started as a prototype MVP and evolved into a full stack platform. Fish Percolator built the backend infrastructure using Ruby on Rails, which allowed subscribers to interact with audio samples. They also developed a full API to facilitate the creation of additional applications. The client commended Fish Percolator's superior capabilities compared to other developers they had considered.

Leeds City Council, a government health agency, engaged Fish Percolator to develop a mobile application to address the issue of isolation and loneliness among citizens. The app allowed community workers to create a confidential heat map of areas where vulnerable citizens may need support. Fish Percolator also developed an accompanying website and loaded the app with animated videos for user guidance. The client appreciated the team's support, especially their willingness to work for reasonable rates due to the civic nature of the project. The engagement, which began in 2015, continues with ongoing maintenance and upgrades for the app.
