FINANTEQ

FINANTEQ was hired by Weyay Digital Bank, the first digital bank in Kuwait, to develop a mobile application that would allow customers to open accounts and configure their debit cards in a fully digital journey. The project involved the complete development of the bank mobile application, including registration screens and the full onboarding journey. A team of over 45 professionals from FINANTEQ, distributed into 5 squads, worked on the project. The long-standing relationship between Weyay and FINANTEQ, who had previously developed NBK mobile application pages, was a key factor in the vendor selection.

In another instance, FINANTEQ was engaged by mBank to redevelop an old mobile application from scratch. The team of eight, including Scrum masters, Android and iOS developers, a backend developer, a QA analyst, and a business analyst, implemented new functionalities that aligned with the app’s new branding. These included a payment transfer feature, push notifications, and a new authentication process. The partnership, which began in January 2011, saw mBank invest between $1 million–$2 million in the project.

Santander Bank Polska S.A. enlisted the services of FINANTEQ to develop a mobile application for retail customers, and to implement Finanteq’s SuperWallet into their app. A team of 20 from FINANTEQ supported the bank in all mobile-related initiatives, ensuring a consistent customer experience throughout the application. They were also responsible for researching and designing the application's user experience, collecting and analyzing customer feedback, and further developing new features. The technologies used in the project included iOS, Android, Swift, Kotlin, and Java. The selection of FINANTEQ was based on a referral and the quality of their work.
