Fenestrae B.V. was contracted by an IT consulting firm to develop a document processing software for one of their clients, who had 15 locations across the country. The challenge was to create a system to scan and store invoices into SharePoint, a task that was previously performed haphazardly with invoices sometimes being stored in employees' Outlook “sent” boxes. The solution provided by Fenestrae B.V. offered a centralized location for invoice storage, where everyone could scan them to the same email address. The project involved the creation of a SharePoint document library and the implementation of Fenestrae B.V.’s processing software, udocx. Feedback from the client indicated that the process was not without its challenges, with the first rollout encountering some errors. However, Fenestrae B.V. was responsive and expedited the process to ensure it worked 100% of the time. The engagement, which began in October 2018, is ongoing as the client is rolling out two more forms that need to be scanned into the system.
