Highlights from Recent Projects
Fcode Labs was contracted by MAIA, a New Zealand-based mental health platform, to develop a mobile application connecting mental health practitioners and patients. The client selected Fcode Labs due to their academic reputation and comprehensive proposal. The project began with the development of an MVP application using native Android and Swift languages for iOS. The admin portal and web front utilized the React framework, while NodeJs and serverless technologies were used for the backend. After the apps were published, Flutter was adopted for cross-platform app development. The development team operated in 2-week sprints, and monthly project demos were conducted. The team consisted of a project manager, a technical lead, two mobile developers, three full-stack developers, and a Quality Assurance engineer.
In another project, Fcode Labs was hired by MOHT, a digital healthcare solutions firm, to develop a web-based digital solution for healthcare use cases. The client found Fcode Labs through a referral and selected them for their cultural fit and value for cost. Fcode Lab's team, numbering between 50 and 100, was responsible for both frontend and backend application development, cloud infrastructure planning, deployment, operation, and content management system integration. They also developed intelligent components such as a search function and recommendation service. The project was hosted on AWS commercial cloud, and communication was primarily through virtual meetings.
