Highlights from Recent Projects
FarShore partnered with Bee Mortgage App to provide software engineering and project management solutions. The project involved the development of both iOS and Android mobile applications. FarShore's team, consisting of 6-7 members including the CEO, President, a project manager, and developers, coded the architecture and provided advisory services. The Android app was launched in May 2020 and the iOS app in August 2020. The total cost of the project was between $50,000 and $75,000. The client was highly impressed with FarShore's work, leading to an ongoing partnership that started in May 2020.
In another project, FarShore collaborated with a technology startup offering SaS in the marketplace platform. Initially hired as a QA team, FarShore was later made the primary development partner after the client ended their partnership with a previous provider. The team, which expanded to include a project manager and frontend and backend developers, worked on revamping the client's software using AWS, React, and Node. They also worked on syncing Google Calendar, creating a login and registration process, and developing widgets for a small white label customer. The ongoing partnership, which began in April 2021, has cost the client around $25,000.
FarShore also worked with a third-party life insurance operational exchange, serving as one of their main development partners in the technology space. The team of about ten people helped build out the initial architecture and features of the client's platform, including backend coding and elements of frontend design. The platform was built on Rackspace and utilized various technologies over the years. The client, who found FarShore through a word-of-mouth recommendation, has invested around $60,000-$70,000 in the partnership since it began in January 2019. The collaboration is still ongoing, with FarShore now working on a monthly retainer structure.
