Highlights from Recent Projects
Facilité Informatique Canada inc. undertook a software system development project for a governmental organization. The organization sought to update its outdated mission systems and streamline its business processes. Facilité Informatique was tasked with redesigning the mission systems into a singular, technologically current system that would meet new business needs. They provided architecture, analysis, and development solutions, implementing an Agile/Scrum approach to transform the client's development team. The project, which began in September 2009 and ended in January 2019, was divided into six phases, with about 15 people assigned to each phase. The client invested approximately $4.5 million in the project.
Facilité Informatique Canada inc. was also engaged by the National Bank of Canada to develop a new web transactional platform. The bank needed several Scrum teams to supplement their development efforts. Facilité Informatique augmented the client's team, managing APIs coded in Java and transitioning the app from Angular to React. They also made substantial changes to all microservices and APIs. The platform, which has about 350 banking features, is already in production, but Facilité Informatique continues to enhance features and address client requests. The bank invested between $4 million to $5 million in the project, which began in January 2017 and is ongoing.
