Highlights from Recent Projects
Extrawest GmbH collaborated with Mobility Pulse, an electric charger manufacturer, to develop an independent platform for connecting chargers. The previous platform was outdated and owned by a third party, prompting the need for a more modern and independent solution. Extrawest developed this new platform from scratch using various web-based languages and servers. The platform was designed to be user-friendly, with easy login and navigation functionalities. In addition, Extrawest integrated the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) to enable communication between the cloud platform and the charger. The project began in June 2020 and is still ongoing with future plans for further expansion. The customer praised Extrawest's openness to their ideas and willingness to take on new challenges.
Extrawest GmbH was hired by Metro Engines Inc., a technology startup, to integrate platforms and develop a user-friendly interface from inception. The project involved planning, platform design and development, user interface design and post-launch support and maintenance. The main task was to develop a system that could aggregate different delivery platforms into a single product. Extrawest was chosen for their high ratings, budget-friendly pricing and cultural fit. They delivered a comprehensive project plan, a fully functional system that aggregates multiple delivery platforms, an easy-to-use user interface, and ongoing post-launch support.
Extrawest GmbH was contracted by an EV charging solutions company to develop a charge point management system tailored to the multiresidential business model. The project involved developing full documentation for the application, designing web and mobile applications, developing the backend featuring the OCPP 1.6 protocol to communicate with charging stations, and developing mobile applications for Android and iOS. The final stage of the project was bug fixing. The client communicated with a team of 6-10 employees from Extrawest primarily via virtual meetings and email or messaging apps.
