Exploding Phone

Ultralogic Solutions Limited, a business systems provider, engaged Exploding Phone to develop a custom mobile app for one of their clients in the waste management sector. The app was designed to digitize the client's paper-based invoicing and ticketing system, allowing drivers to collect signatures and live data on the go. The app was developed from scratch for Android devices using Java and integrated with the client's existing system via an API. The project, which ran from September 2020 to December 2021, was completed successfully, with the client investing approximately $43,000, including ongoing support fees.

Literacy Tree, an EdTech platform, hired Exploding Phone to develop an easy-to-use app for their members. The app was designed to provide access to resources, capture children's outcomes, assess children, and annotate planning resources. It was also required to integrate seamlessly with the website and be available for free download across iOS and Android devices. The project deliverables included an iPad-specific version of the app, integration with device camera and photo library, and compliance with UK Data Protection legislation (GDPR).
