Exploding Phone

Exploding Phone developed a mobile application for Selco Builders Warehouse, a building materials supplier. The project aimed to make shopping easier for the company's customers. Exploding Phone was responsible for the UX/UI design and development of the app. The app featured several functionalities, including the ability to surface a trading card, locate the nearest physical store, and securely log into the website. The app was built in native Android and iOS. The project, which lasted from January 2020 to April 2022, cost between $50,000 and $100,000.

For Ultralogic Solutions Limited, Exploding Phone developed a mobile app to streamline the delivery and ticketing process for their client, a waste management services provider. The app was designed to reduce the amount of paper used in the invoicing process and allow drivers to collect signatures and live data on their mobile devices. The app, developed from scratch using CodeIgniter for Android devices and Java, was completed in December 2021, and Exploding Phone continues to provide maintenance support. The total investment for the project was around £35,000 (approximately $43,000 USD).

Exploding Phone was hired by Literacy Tree, an EdTech platform, to develop a user-friendly mobile app for iOS and Android devices. The app was designed to provide access to resources, capture children's outcomes, assess children, and annotate planning resources. It also needed to integrate smoothly with the website via an API. The app, which adhered to Literacy Tree's branding and aesthetic, included features such as image capture and tagging, social media integration, and the ability to annotate PDF files. The project adhered to UK Data Protection legislation (GDPR) requirements and followed commonly accepted best practices.
