Explanimate!

Explanimate! was hired by Safe Food Queensland to create animated videos for online training courses. The goal of the project was to engage viewers, distill concepts and ideas, and reinforce the learning outcomes of the course. Explanimate! was responsible for developing the overall look and feel of the videos, storyboarding, and editing animations. The client provided the scripts and voice-overs. The project involved the collaboration of one to two designers/animators from Explanimate! and a communication manager and project manager from Safe Food Queensland. The final video was reviewed, edited, and then supplied for download.

Explanimate! was engaged by a telecommunications company to develop an animation as a piece of learning content for internal employees. The goal of the project was to create awareness of a new process within the company. The process included a kick-off meeting to understand needs, script development, storyboarding, animation development, and coordination of a voice over artist. The client had worked with Explanimate! on numerous occasions, citing their reliability, adherence to deadlines, and quality work as reasons for their continued partnership. Feedback and project management were handled by one contact point from Explanimate!

Film production company, THIRTY3SOUTH, hired Explanimate! to animate the stories of award winners for one of their clients. In 2021, due to contact restrictions, they decided to animate the stories using recorded interviews captured and edited by THIRTY3SOUTH, with the animation produced by Explanimate!. They chose Explanimate! for their expertise in animation, understanding of deadlines and budgets, and customer-focused service. The project involved a staggered process of nine individual stories that were compiled into a single coherent piece. The artwork, sketch board, and storyboarding were managed by Explanimate! flawlessly, making the client approval process seamless.
