Exlabs

Exlabs collaborated with Learn Amp, a leading learning suite, to migrate their platform to Amazon AWS from Heroku. The project required minimal disruption to the day-to-day running of the platform. The migration process was meticulously planned, beginning with the staging environment, followed by the production systems. The project was executed by a team of 3-4 experts from Exlabs, working closely with the Learn Amp team. The migration was successful, with no loss of data or unforeseen issues, and was completed within the planned maintenance window.

In a project with ConnectD, a community network company, Exlabs was tasked with modernizing their technical solution to facilitate scalability and future growth. The project began with remote workshops to define system flow and deliver a structured product backlog, roadmap, and budget estimation. The work was divided into two-week cycles, with Exlabs overseeing the software development lifecycle. After 10 months of active development, the application was launched, integrating seamlessly with existing systems. The project involved about 10 roles from Exlabs, including a Solutions architect, Delivery Manager, engineering team, UX specialist, and Quality Assurance analyst.

Exlabs worked with a B2B service startup to develop a proof of concept for TrackMyRisks into a fully cloud-based platform on AWS. The project aimed to create a platform that could scale infinitely with minimal developer input. The project utilized both SCRUM and KANBAN methodologies, with Exlabs handling UX/UI design, development, system administration, and the total product development lifecycle. The platform was successfully developed on an AWS serverless architecture, with a Vue front-end, S3 storage, and Lambda modules. The project team included an account manager, a project manager, a Scrum Master, a UX/UI designer, 3 front-end developers, 2 back-end developers, a sys admin, and a technical director.
